Fresh from his Hollywood Bowl debut this summer pianist Behzod Abduraimov replaces Leila Josefowicz in a Los Angeles Philharmonic subscription program at Walt Disney Concert Hall, this weekend, October 17, 18, and 19.

Josefowicz, who has withdrawn because she is expecting a child in the period around the scheduled concerts, was scheduled to perform Thomas Adès' Violin Concerto, Concentric Paths. The piece will be replaced by Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 performed by Abduraimov.

The rest of the program, led by conductor Juanjo Mena remains the same and is as follows:

PROKOFIEV Symphony No. 1, "Classical"
PROKOFIEV Piano Concerto No. 3
DVO?ÁK Symphony No. 7

The performance marks Abduraimov's Walt Disney Concert Hall debut. He made his LA Phil debut at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this year when he replaced Yefim Bronfman.
