Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity Launches the Second Half of it's 48th Season with Music of Buxtehude

Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity, a long-time leader in New York City's thriving early-music scene, will open thesecond half of it's 48th season with a performance of Dieterich Buxtehude's cantata Herzlich lieb hab ich dich, o Herr. The program will feature Music Director Donald Meineke, noted early music soprano Anna Lenti and the multiple Grammy nominated Bach Choir and Players.

Called "New York's temple to Bach" by the New York Times, hailed for it's "tradition of high-calibre Sunday-afternoon Baroque performances," and named "a cultural landmark" by the New York Landmarks Conservancy, Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity was the first organization in the Western Hemisphere to present the cantatas and other works of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries within their intended sacred context. Bach Vespers at Holy Trinity are free, open to the public and made possible through a freewill offering

Holy Trinity is located at Central Park West and 65th Street in Manhattan.
