About the Author
Following a 37-year career as a licensed psychologist, Dr. D'Alessio retired to Philadelphia where he now lives with his artist-wife, Susan, and writes fiction that focuses on intense psychological conflicts and the passions of intimate relationships and family dramas. D'Alessio obtained his B.A. from Columbia University and earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Northwestern University. He started writing fiction when he was 68 and published his first book at age 77. In addition to writing, he has been teaching t'ai chi in senior centers and martial arts studios in Philadelphia since 2000.
