TRUMBULL, Conn., March 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ Scott Faith and his children have to face the worst time in their lives following the death of his wife, Stacy, from cancer. Their children Evan, 14, and Georgia, 5, now have to struggle through the ups and downs of grief and adjust to life without their mom.

Psychotherapist and author, Sharon Diaz has donated her national program, "Melodee Roo & The Wantoks Too! Letters For Grieving Children Like You" to the Faith family to help them cope with their heartbreak.

"Does it hurt to die?" is one question that is answered. Contrary to the current culture of silence, Diaz knows that children are more aware than we give them credit for. They find relief when their confusion, worry and guilt are addressed, and benefit when communication and coping skills are taught, allowing them to effectively express their thoughts and feelings. It's important for children to be understood and to not feel alone in their grief.

Scott knows firsthand that it's hard enough for him, as an adult, to cope. "I think this is a great tool to have right in our home. I think Georgia will benefit from it throughout the upcoming months." This program is ideal for 6- to 12-year-olds, but the whole family can benefit from the story with its in-depth steps and specific techniques that educate and inspire healing.

And community members have joined the effort to help by sponsoring a child to receive this program as Connecticut resident Jiayuh Chyan, author of "Your Key To The Akashic Records" has done. "I felt called to sponsor a child to receive this wonderful tool. My father died when I was 25 and I want to help the next child learn how to cope with such a devastating loss."

Anyone in the U.S.A. who is interested can contact melodee@melodeeroo.com to submit a child/family name to receive this sponsored gift to help them cope with life's hardest challenge.
