SLIB New Media Releases 'Aegis Warlord: Evolution'

SLIB New Media is proud to release "Aegis Warlord: Evolution," an eBook by Carla Kipp.

Reluctant. Hesitant. Uncertain. These are not the traits of a Warlord but then it was a title she never sought. It was forced upon her - every action coerced, decisions tightly controlled - all in an attempt to take full advantage of gifts that were inherently hers. She was living a lie, not a life and she'd grown weary of the stalemate. Something had to give and on the day she made the decision to free herself from the tyrannical deadlock, it would cast her into another shade of darkness, one she knew would finally bring her end but with that would come the peace she was looking for. Except it wasn't that it all. It was just another step in her evolution, another road she was destined to travel before becoming the Aegis Warlord.

When asked about the story's origin, the author remarked, "'Aegis Warlord: Evolution' at its heart is really about the darkest hour just before dawn. It's an awakening, a testament to staying true to yourself in spite of the harshest circumstances, and being rewarded with the promise of a new day, a new life and a new beginning. It is perhaps a more subtle version of the old adage, 'triumph over darkness', in that it speaks more quietly to surviving the darkness, putting it behind you and moving forward with life."

This is Carla Kipp's first foray into writing eBooks, her previous works have been in music and screenplays, both motion picture and television. This is the first project released by her company, SLIB New Media (www.slibnewmedia.com), which is based in Flagstaff, Arizona.
