S. N. Deinscheiss always dreamed about writing fiction but never imagined his first book would be inspired by injustices in America's legal system. Now he taps that research to write his first novel, "Wuwpoo," book one of a three part series of thrillers that explore the impact of a justice system gone awry and its impact on families.

Assaulted and tortured by law enforcement. Betrayed by his own lawyer in a custody battle. Financially ruined by the opposing lawyer's tactics. The twists and turns attributed to the main character seem a little far-fetched to be real. "With a little research, anyone can find examples of people going through similar adversity," said Deinscheiss.

But what does an ancient prophecy have to do with the courtroom drama? "Absolutely nothing," says the author. "The book is a suspense thriller written for entertainment and the curse provided a nice twist for the story."

The setting and characters are allegorical depictions, including the author's pseudonym. Even though the plot is reality based, there's a significant amount of storytelling weaved in. "There's a lot of the obvious that gets presented so extraordinarily different," said Deinscheiss.

About the Author: S. N. Deinscheiss grew up in the mountains of east Tennessee and Virginia where his love of the outdoors flourished and his interests in writing began. Just a passing notion more than twenty years ago, his urge to write was born again when he decided to change career tracks and become a full time writer.
