TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Right on the heels of announcing her return to UFC, Ronda Rousey adds "audiobook narrator" to her resume with the audiobook release of her compelling autobiography MY FIGHT / YOUR FIGHT from Audiobooks.com Publishing.

The book, originally published by Regan Arts in 2015 and written by Rousey and her sister Maria Burns-Ortiz, details Rousey's childhood, her Olympic judo career, and her journey to MMA, UFC, and acting, while giving many insights into her personal and family life. It also discusses her training and nutrition plans and offers motivation and advice to readers.

The book is a natural fit with the publisher's content focus on compelling non-fiction and push to acquire more titles by female authors. "I read the book in one sitting and immediately reached out to Regan Arts to talk about doing the audiobook," says Michelle Kaatz, Executive Producer and Director of Audiobooks.com Publishing. "Ronda is such an inspirational person and we're thrilled to be part of bringing this incredible book to a new audience."

The audiobook was recorded earlier this spring at Deyan Audio in Los Angeles with Senior Director Sebastian Zetin and Vanessa Melendez as recording engineer. Says Zetin, "Ronda may seem very tough based on what you see in the media, but during the days she spent with us, I found her to have an authenticity and understanding of life that went far beyond what the media has shown. At times her narration is heartbreaking, loving, hilarious, and above all, very human. She has this attitude that whatever she does, she is going to do the very best she can. Her reading of her story was no exception."

Dana White's introduction for the book is narrated by veteran narrator R. C. Bray of The Martian fame. The publisher also worked with Blackheart Records to license Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation," Rousey's walkout song, for the intro and outro music.

The audiobook is now available for sale on Audiobooks.com, Audible, iTunes, and everywhere else great audiobooks are sold. The audiobook trailer can be found here and an excerpt here.
