Author Phyllis L. Butler reaches out to readers and shares her journey from heartache and pain to acceptance and healing with her debut poetry collection, "As I Heal I Wrote These Words" (published by AuthorHouse).

"After being hurt from life's tribulations such as loss loved ones, mistreatment, ridiculed and bad relationships, I was inspired to write this poetry book as part of my healing process to express my inner feelings and determination to get over it while influencing others," says Butler.
