Comedybeat.com managing editor Carl Unegbu recently visited Harlem's Sisters Uptown Bookstore and Cultural Center, where he presented a reading and signing event for his recently published book "Comedy Under Attack: The Golden Age & the Headwinds." Scroll down for photos!

In the book, Unegbu -- a lawyer and entertainment blogger who studied journalism at Columbia University -- examines where stand-up comedy stands in an increasingly polarized world and explores the challenges facing contemporary stand-up. Local comedians Joseph Rocha and Kristy Belich brought laughter to the June 28th proceedings with short sets.

In addition to Sisters Uptown Bookstore (located at 156th Street & Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan) and selected independent bookstores, Comedy Under Attack is available for purchase at: www.comedyunderattack.com
