Jericho, N.Y.

Philip Sorgen has been retired for 14 years and spends his time reading, writing, and playing the piano and tennis. He wanted to leave a legacy for his children and grandchildren. Thus, in "Dead Man Talking... and talking... and talking," (published by Xlibris) Sorgen retraces the journey of his life that brought him to where he is today.

The author is not really dead-it is just that since he received his poetic license, he has been dying to use it. This book is about the story of his life. He is an ordinary person whose life is filled with humorous events as well as several travelogues.

He has been an actuarial trainee at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, ranked as SP4 in the U.S. Army Reserve and then for 34 rewarding years, a mathematics teacher at Great Neck North High School in New York. He plays the piano by ear, composes music and suffers from tennis elbow, which is for him a lot less severe than tennis balls.

"I believe this book is a good solid read and a page turner. My writing is informal and I tell it like it was. People may find my life interesting and perhaps informative," says the author.

"Dead Man Talking... and talking... and talking" will make readers learn about life, love and laughter.
