Patty Pleban Wherry has completed her new book "Heavenly Kids": a book filled with caring and kind suggestions to approach dealing with the aftermath of loss in young peoples' lives.

Patty has an abiding interest in children's development. This is evidenced by her volunteer work with children from their formative through their teenage years. Her first published book, "Scruffy's Pawsitive Mission: Attacking Panic Disorder", described her personal dealing with the frustration and triumphs of agoraphobia as seen through the eyes of her pet dog. This publication resulted in her sought-after appearances before numerous school children, elementary through high school, with whom she effectively discussed the ways in which to deal with panic disorder.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Patty Pleban Wherry's essential children's story supports the people who are left behind when a beloved person becomes another one of the Supreme Being's "Heavenly Kids."

Losing a loved one is one of life's hardest lessons. "Heavenly Kids" guides children, with their parents and loved ones, to overcome grief or anxiety resulting from the passing of someone close to the child. Regardless of the child's age, it is difficult to explain any such passing, and this task is even more difficult if it involves a sibling, young friend, or relative.

"Heavenly Kids" is an invented story designed to help ease the child's grief and can effectively be used to enable children and their parents or loved ones to establish a dialogue when dealing with this complex issue. Similarly, professionals such as teachers, guidance counselors, clergy members, and psychologists who are called upon to aid a child in dealing with problems associated with an imminent or occurred passing will find

"Heavenly Kids" an invaluable resource to aid their efforts.

"One of the best ways to have a little heaven in your home, is to have someone you love in heaven" (author unknown).

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Readers who wish to experience this encouraging work can purchase "Heavenly Kids" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
