Stress is such an everyday part of life for people today that many don't even realize they have options for living a more balanced and peaceful life. That's one reason why minister, TV personality and author Lindsay Roberts wrote her well-loved book, 'Overcoming Stress.' Roberts uses personal stories from her own hectic life and personal challenges to look at what Christians can do to resist stress and enjoy God's peace and goodness in trying circumstances.

It's almost a guarantee that if you are alive and breathing, stress will find you, says Roberts. "This issue is not avoiding stress. It's how we react under pressure that builds our character, strengthens our moral fiber, and develops our inner strength." Stress can actually work for our good, if we learn to respond to it with a wise, God-centered approach.

With her vibrant life filled with television programs, a speaking schedule, her role as a devoted wife o a leading minister, and mother of three daughters, Roberts is no stranger to stress. Her book outlines biblical responses to help readers overcome stressful situations. In her usual humorous style, she fills her teaching with captivating examples of how she applied the biblical truths she talks about in her own life situations.

'Overcoming Stress' by Lindsay Roberts is now available as an ebook through eBookIt.com and other popular online ebook retailers.
