In his new book, "Suffer Me Forever: The Story of a Troubled Childhood and the Experiences of an Adult with No Future" (published by Xlibris), Vladik Northboy gives a searing, no holds barred account of his experience of institutional abuse. More than a startling account of crime and corruption, this is a true story of hope, second chances and resilience of the spirit.

Northboy has been in and out of prison his whole life, a harrowing journey he charts in his book. A wry, candid narrator, he offers snapshots from his life from his turbulent childhood to his experiences in psychiatric placements and other forms of imprisonment.

"This book will give you an explicit glimpse of what can happen when a child is exposed to carnal sexuality and totally dysfunctional living environments too early in life," the first time author says. "It shows the residual effects on relationships."

"Suffer Me Forever" is an intimate glimpse into some of today's most alarming issues including child abuse, unstable home environments and gaps in the justice system. At the core of this book, the author hopes for change and the chance to be free again.

"My book addresses over 30 years of every kind of institutionalization in America," Northboy says. "You will see the truth and sad reality of these places."
