Author Lucy Bermingham's new book, "The Tales of Tickety Boo : Tickety Boo at the Zoo: The Animal Game" (published by AuthorHouse), introduces a cockatoo named Tickety Boo who narrates this game.

Intended for young children, beginner readers and younger, "The Tales of Tickety Boo : Tickety Boo at the Zoo" teaches facts about animals through a rhyming game. It offers clues that visually portray the defining characteristics of each animal. Some of the clues readers will know, and others they will not, which Bermingham has done intentionally to help children learn new facts while making the right choices to answer the question asked: "Who am I?"

"Games are fun," Bermingham says, "and the clues to these animals provide new information as well as enough known information so that the children can be successful in the game while enhancing their vocabulary and learning new facts."

An excerpt from "The Tales of Tickety Boo : Tickety Boo at the Zoo":

"I look like a horse, but I'm striped black and white,
Which helps me to hide in shadows and light.
The African Savanna is where I call home,
Where my family and I are likely to roam.
Who am I?"
