New Book from Jeanmarie Wilson Encourages Soulful Parenting

Jeanmarie Wilson offers readers a new perspective on raising children and shares insights she wishes she had when her children were young in her new book "Parenting From Your Soul: A Spiritual Approach to Raising Children with Compassion and Wisdom" (published by Balboa Press).

Wilson identifies the theory of "parenting from your soul" to include concepts like: how to love one's children unconditionally, find patience in challenging times, practice forgiveness for others and self, accept one's children throughout each stage of their growth, and transform one's relationship with their children, no matter their ages.

"'Parenting From Your Soul' contains practical tips and guidelines for parents to help them raise emotionally-secure children who lead lives of purpose, intention and joy while creating more happiness for themselves," Wilson says.

Acknowledging the difficult jobs parents have, Wilson asserts that nothing is more important than the choices parents make when it comes to how they raise their children. Her own experiences as a seasoned school counselor and parent taught her lessons she wishes she had known earlier and she shares what she has learned about the human spirit, about dealing with challenges and overcoming adversity as well as living life with an open heart.
