The deadly affliction called a stroke or a cerebrovascular accident is often described as a silent killer and it can strike without any warning or preliminary symptoms. To suffer a stroke is a grave matter; not only does it change one's lifestyle and abilities, it also affects one's family. In "What's Your Handicap?" author and stroke survivor Gordon Davies has written a veritable guide on how to recover from a stroke and live as full a life as possible.

Davies writes his book with all the sensitivity and empathy that a stroke survivor possesses for fellow survivors and is expressly written by the author to help others. This extremely helpful and well-informed book contains a myriad of information about the many aspects and types of strokes. Not only that, it also explores the biomedical basis for understanding stroke and the things that trigger its occurrence. It also contains advice and emotional support from the author with experience gained through twenty years as a stroke survivor.

"What's Your Handicap" is a god-send to all stroke victims and their family and friends. It is a tribute to all stroke survivors and is a valuable work meant to help and inspire them and their families all over the world.
