Littlehampton, England - Neville Green makes his publishing debut with an entertaining, comedic drama peopled by unusual characters contained in a compelling story. "Candle Dancers" (published by AuthorHouse) features out-of-the-ordinary twists and turns and a timeless but odd story of love and revenge.

Set against the backdrop of dystopian planets governed by despotic and ruthless rulers, the book opens with a populace with absolutely no right to self-determination. Repressive, violent measures are in force, controlling virtually everything. Such is the woe cast upon citizens and, most especially, to a variety troupe, known as the Candle Dancers. To their dismay, they find themselves performing in very gritty, squalid venues, with shows, prescribed by the rulers, of thinly veiled pornography.

The troupe's life becomes complicated when Dix Dannering, their director, is attacked, mortally wounded, and eventually pronounced dead. However, his friends believe the verdict is nothing but a malicious deception. True to their suspicions, after retrieving his "corpse," they find out he is seriously wounded, but alive.

Dix makes a plan to retaliate but his plot is thwarted by the female detective commissioned by the rulers to apprehend him. Things take an unexpected turn when his female captor falls madly and irrevocably in love with him.

Betrayed and deceived, the rulers exact a horrifyingly wicked plan to bring the couple down. Will this beautiful, wonderful love survive the barbaric retaliation, or is everything just an illusion?
