There is more than one way to be a Christian. Author Nero James Pruitt expounds on this personal belief by sharing a "Good News for Moderns" (published by iUniverse). This insightful book discusses the many ways in which Christianity can be practiced in this modern age.

The book quotes the New Testament many times and draws from history. It shows that, within the pages of the New Testament, there are many ways to be a Christian; as diversity of beliefs is embedded within. "Good News for Moderns" then goes to show the relevance of Christianity and to recommend a form of Christianity that will fit in any future scenario. The form that the author recommends is monotheism and good conduct.

"Many people may want to be considered as Christians, but reject what they understand it may require them to believe," Pruitt says. "But these people can, if they want, find a place in Christianity - whether or not they decide to go to church in the future."

In the end, Pruitt lets readers ponder on the things he presents and make decisions of their own. After he highlights the fact that a large amount of diversity can be found in modern Christianity, he encourages readers to turn to The New Testament's diversity-one which, if properly understood, broadens the understanding of what it means to be a Christian.
