What should I do with my life? Are my dreams achievable? I'm not a type-a personality, am I doomed to mediocrity? What can I do to take control of my situation?

These are but a few of the questions that people have driving through their heads on a constant loop day-in and day-out. Tim Rode is the successful entrepreneurial president and founder of the multimillion-dollar business TR Toppers, and he may just have found the answers to a few of these questions.

"Most people I talk to seem to think they have to be constantly running full-steam ahead on every aspect of their life," Rode said. "I have found taking breaks and sabbaticals is a necessary balance to the take-the-reigns moments in life."

"Are You Drifting?" is Rode's new book designed to help people look at their own lives and see if they need to stop, or maybe start, drifting in order to take the next great step.

"I started my business with the simple idea of selling chopped candy pieces," Rode said. "While I certainly had to hit the ground running to have the company take off, it would not be as successful as it is today if I hadn't taken time to back off and let things grow naturally as well."

Part autobiography and part self-help, Rode's wrote "Are You Drifting?" to help others learn from his example, hopefully inspiring them to more successfully manage their lives.
