SALT LAKE CITY - Maelyn Bjork returns to the literary scene with the release of her book, "Trish in Transition" (published by Xlibris). A sequel to "Ellie Reinvented," this latest offering reveals the effects of Ellie's abuse by her husband Nick and how it haunts her even in Trish's body.

The book takes Ellie's persona from being in a loveless, abusive marriage to one of affluence and the potential to bond with a good, caring man. She also finds that being a wealthy woman does not solve all her problems, just gives her new ones with which to deal. The book must solve a greater problem, though: who poisoned Trish and why?

In this riveting read, all who followed Ellie's story will be delighted to see her get out of her toxic and abuse-filled marriage. Her new adventures in a new body, though, might cause her another batch of problems that may hamper a blossoming romance she just found.

A body swap, attempted murder and relentless pursuit by an abuser will excite readers who are looking for a unique read; one that charges mentally and emotionally.
