M.J. Abrams Pens CHUBBY WUBBLES

"It was always fun to watch my son and his pet ferret interact with each other whenever I visited them," explains author and father Myron J. Abrams. "Because of the many experiences my son had with this adorably sweet animal, I could perceive an interesting story developing." Abrams is currently enjoying retirement after working for Ford Motor Company for 40 years. He agreed to take care of Chubby while his son was away working on a cruise ship. He couldn't bear the thought of having to give Jeffrey's lovable pet ferret to someone else. Besides, he had plenty of free time to spend with him. Abrams decided to write a children's book based on a true story about his son adventures and misadventures with the little critter.
