While camping along the lake with her dog, Molly Franklin suddenly finds herself in the middle of an infant kidnapping. A skilled neonatal nurse, Molly helps Sheriff French sort out the mystery. However, as the incident fades into the past, evil becomes up-close and personal as Molly is raped by one of her coworkers.

In "Under His Wings" (published by WestBow Press), Molly's physical, professional and spiritual life is filled with chaos and pain, but her family and friends demonstrate true love to help her overcome the trauma without losing her faith, career or self-confidence.

"Initially, I thought to write a book about an infant kidnapping," author Linda L. Bellig, M.A., explains, "but the Molly Franklin character developed further and I wanted to write about how a young, confident, happy woman deals with the emotional, physical, and spiritual effects from a personal attack like rape and have victory."

By sharing such a complex and challenging story, Bellig hopes her readers will see: "That God is sufficient, even when evil comes into our lives. Righteous anger can carry us through a lot, but God doesn't want us to live with that anger. We can be angry, but we shouldn't let our anger lead us to sin."
