TIRUCHIRAPPALLI, India

According to author Jose Anto, existence with humanness is important for humans. He thinks that feelings of humanity towards other fellow humans are essential in human culture and it is due to lack of this nature that man lives a lifeless life.

"Human Beings and Being Human" (published by Partridge India) is a poem collection about the human and inhuman nature of human beings. This book shows mainly the shortcomings of humans. It is written philosophically so that readers can be enlightened and educated. Some poems are related to the activities of human beings while others are related to the word human.

"Everyone knows that the mind-set of people has changed over the centuries. This book gives you the present mind-set of people. The use of simple language will also be a notable thing in this book. It is comprehensive in all aspects," says the author.

In his opinion, the author believes that "Human Beings and Being Human" is the only source book which talks about humanness. The poems were written only in 10 lines each of which conveys a message for the people.
