John L. Jewell draws inspiration from his childhood memories to create the compelling tale of "A Strange Boy" (published by AuthorHouse UK). Originally published in February of 2016, a new marketing push is set for this tale exploring a special boy's morality and his struggles against corruption and evil.

Leslie's journey through life is punctuated by tragedies, cruelties and losses. He suffers throughout all of this, while keeping his greatest secret even to his older sister, Mary. Leslie acquires special skills and uses them to fight his demons, leading him to important discoveries - some dreadful and others joyful. But the concealment of his powers has come to an end when he is faced with a life-threatening condition, a condition that requires his absolute trust to Mary. Can they get through it together?

Set in the 1950s to 1960s England, this work of fiction is a rare glimpse into the mind of a young hero as he comes to terms with unusual powers that set him apart from the people around him. Together with his sister, Mary, who has secrets of her own, he navigates through the highs and lows of life to reach the truth he seeks all his life. His journey is also about righting wrongs and seeking justice for the victims of evildoers.

A gripping story of adventure, "A Strange Boy" will captivate readers' imagination and show them the unbreakable love shared by siblings.
