John Karl Timm Introduces Readers to the Seven 'Earth Rules'

In his new book, "The Earth Incident: God's Affair With our Home Planet" (published by AuthorHouse), John Karl Timm explores a basic spiritual question: "What in the world has God been up to?"

Timm first reveals the seven "Earth Rules" that describe how life was designed by God to operate (Everything is connected, Choice is free but unavoidable, Risk is part of life, Each one is unique ...). "They are the fundamental rules for life on our planet as identified by scientific fact, religious spirituality and Christian theology," he explains.

"The Earth Incident" then recounts the odyssey of God's unimaginable love for the world and the drama of that relationship as described in the Hebrew Bible and its culmination in Jesus and the New Testament.

Timm carefully weaves the "Seven Earth Rules" and the Biblical story of divine strategy into the intricate web of science, Christian theology and respect for nature to affirm the one Godly intention for all of life. John Karl Timm has degrees from Thiel College, the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia and New Hampshire Technical Institute, and has pursued advanced studies at Dartmouth Medical School and Rutgers University. He has been a pastor, having served congregations in Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, and a college professor/department head.
