John Karl Timm Introduces Readers to the Seven 'Earth Rules'
Timm first reveals the seven "Earth Rules" that describe how life was designed by God to operate (Everything is connected, Choice is free but unavoidable, Risk is part of life, Each one is unique ...). "They are the fundamental rules for life on our planet as identified by scientific fact, religious spirituality and Christian theology," he explains.
"The Earth Incident" then recounts the odyssey of God's unimaginable love for the world and the drama of that relationship as described in the Hebrew Bible and its culmination in Jesus and the New Testament.
Timm carefully weaves the "Seven Earth Rules" and the Biblical story of divine strategy into the intricate web of science, Christian theology and respect for nature to affirm the one Godly intention for all of life. Carefully avoiding religious jargon, "The Earth Incident" presents encouraging implications for life today.
