Jack Lopes, an author and retired executive, has completed his new book "Royalty Bank and Trust Company": a gripping and potent tale that is a multi-layered work of genius that supplies the reader with innovative characters and an adventure that is one of a kind.

Speaking of why he decided to write this book, author Jack Lopes said, "A lifetime desire to be an author. Upon retirement I have the time to write. I have written six novels and am starting my seventh."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Jack Lopes' thrilling tale shares the turbulent times of a man who carried the heaviest burden but was never crushed by it.

Timothy Tennant, son of a prominent banker and Franco Hernendez, the son of a drug cartel owner were roommates in school. The two devise a perfect plan to process drugs at sea in international waters. Their plan includes the establishment of bank for money laundering. Upon graduation they implement their plan, with money received from five drug cartels. Their plan works successfully for thirty years.

One of the bank's vice presidents, Lester Martin, is murdered, which sets the cartel members and bank officials into a panic, believing that it is part of a plan to gain control of their organizations.

Sergeant Emil Leffarts, of the Harford Police Department, is assigned to investigate the murder. His investigation of the international bank, Royalty Bank and Trust Company, leads to some interesting and unusual discoveries. The bank generates four to five times more profit than their financial competitors. Also the senior officers receive compensation far in excess of the normal compensation.

One of Leffarts' investigations on Martin's activities, found him to be involved with a drug dealer that is being investigated by the FBI. The two agencies join forces. It is discovered that the Royalty Bank was originally financed by five South American companies; companies that were still shareholders.
All of the interesting facts do not solve the murder case.

Readers who wish to experience this thrilling work can purchase "Royalty Bank and Trust Company" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
