All human beings are connected and one with all other elements in creation.

In "I am Pat," former public school teacher and counselor Patricia Kampmeier channels her lifelong personal journey of spiritual growth through her original poetry, moving through illness, handicap, aging, disappointment and grief, to irrepressible joy, loving relationships and a sense of the spirituality embedded in everything.

Having extensively studied spirituality, the flow of consciousness and dream work through meditation and self reflection, Kampmeier's poems share her views of interconnectedness and devotion to a higher power.

"My poems connect with consciousness studies and quantum ideas of entanglement, non-locality and interconnectedness, as well as a sense of the ground of all being of consciousness and light," Kampmeier said. "They are straightforward, accessible and often simple."

By sharing her thoughts with others, Kampmeier hopes to bring awareness to the idea that all parts of the earth and life have consciousness and are connected, and that death is true in physical reality but not the truest reality.

"I feel it is important for us to understand death differently," Kampmeier said. "The dead are really alive in a light or energy body, and we can communicate with them."
