In "Numbers" (published by Xlibris) the author Henry F. De Francesco confronts the common misconception of most students that math is too difficult and too specialized to learn.

"Numbers" is a highly informative read that demonstrate that certain subjects in mathematics can be both interesting and useful for non-STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) oriented students and professional adults. It also demonstrates to non-STEM career oriented individuals that the Fundamentals of Mathematics are easier to learn and apply to everyday analysis situations than the STEM oriented approach to math education.

The monograph is written as a novel rather than a text book. It will show the reader that he or she can learn a lot of useful mathematics without taking the usual drudgery courses in mathematics.
