It has been 12 years since twins Josh and Katie Jenkins dove into the underwater world of Otriana and helped Nepta and his sister, Coralie. Now, Nepta and Coralie's father is dead and the twins have been accused of murdering him. While Nepta believes them to be innocent, Coralie is out for revenge.

Author Helen Keltie returns readers to Otriana in her new young adult fantasy novel, "Nepta and the Pirates" (published by Balboa Press AU), in which the past collides with the present and friends become foes.

When Nepta hears about his father's death, he doesn't believe the twins murdered him and wishes to visit the twins again so that they may help him solve the case. His sister, Coralie, agrees to journey with him to Earth, but unlike her brother, has sinister plans for the twins. As they begin their journey, Nepta and Coralie are given a bottle of sea wine and a magical ring, which summons a pirate captain, bent on getting back the very ring that summoned him.

"Nepta and the Pirates" follows Nepta as he races to save the twins from the pirate menace - and his sister's devious intentions. Will Nepta manage to unlock the power within the ring and stop the pirate, or will his sister triumph in the name of revenge?
