SIRIUS XM Radio today announced that bestselling children's author R.L. Stine will be the featured guest on the next Author Confidential, an exclusive series on SiriusXM Book Radio on which iconic authors sit down for candid interviews.

For the exclusive interview, R.L. Stine sits down with Book Radio hosts Kim Alexander and Maggie Linton to talk about the huge international success of Goosebumps (Scholastic), his popular series of children's horror fiction novels which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and the launch of his latest work, an adult horror novel, Red Rain (Touchstone, a division of Simon & Schuster).    

SiriusXM's Author Confidential with R.L. Stine will air Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 8:00 pm and replays on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10:00 pm and Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 9:00 pm on Book Radio channel 80.  All times are ET.   

The author is also host of SiriusXM Boo!k Radio beginning Friday, October 26 at 7:00pm ET and continuing through Halloween.  In celebration of the holiday, Boo!k Radio will air radio dramas and classic horror novels continuously.  

R.L. Stine is an American author whose books have sold more than 400 million copies, making him one of the most popular children's authors in history. The Goosebumps phenomenon began in 1992 when the Scholastic series quickly became an international bestseller.  Translated into 32 different languages it was later made into a television series, episodes of which still air during the Halloween holiday.  Besides the Goosebumps® and Goosebumps HorrorLand® series, Mr. Stine is the author of many other bestsellers including: Fear Street, Rotten School, Mostly Ghostly, The Nightmare Room, and Dangerous Girls.  Mr. Stine lives in New York with his wife, Jane.
