Felicia Lin and Victor Scott Rodriguez Announce Book Release Party for METROPOLICKS, 1/8

NEW YORK, Jan. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ Co-authors Felicia Lin and Victor Scott Rodriguez are pleased to present a one-of-a-kind book release party forMetropolicksin New York City at Toshi's Living Room in the Flatiron Hotel from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on January 8th. The event will feature a performance by pop singer and songwriter Jami Jackson, whose songs are featured in twoMetropolicksmusic videos. Three actresses will do a theatrical reading of an excerpt from the book. There will also be raffles for a print version ofMetropolicks.

What isMetropolicks? It is an invented word that the co-authors Lin and Rodriguez have defined as:

Metropolicks[mi-trop-uh-liks]n.1.A large, busy, international city (e.g. New York City) filled with varied stories of relationship adventures and misadventures.2. A major urban center in which sexual activity is prominent, especially those involving the use of one's tongue.3.A fast-paced, competitive metropolis where highly ambitious people focus on licking the competition and getting ahead in dating.

The interview was filmed on location on the day of a photo shoot for the cover of the book. Lin and Rodriguez had hired 15 models of diverse backgrounds for the photo shoot. A "behind the scenes" video of the photo shoot was also shot that day and turned into two music videos promoting the novel. Singer, songwriter Jami Jackson's songs "Let Love Live" and "Keep Walkin' On" are featured in the music videos.
