F.W. Haversham Releases THE TRIANGLE OF LIGHT

F.W. Haversham, a published editor in the medical and pharmaceutical field, has completed her new book "The Triangle of Light": a gripping story of a woman who is forced to come to terms with the end of her marriage, resolves internal struggles long buried, and in the process, reinvents herself.

According to Haversham, "She was introduced to the elements of writing, editing and indexing in the office of a physician at a large mid-western university hospital who wrote in his specialty of industrial medicine. She now holds a degree in the biological sciences. This is her first novel."

Haversham's tale explores the evolution of Chimmie McConnell, the corporate wife of a junior partner in one of the largest law firms in the mid-western states, when she is faced with life-changing events. Chimmie is the socialite living in the architect-designed home, who belongs to the ladies-that-lunch group. However, there is an undercurrent of something in her life, in her past, which is unresolved.

Chimmie's life is shattered when her husband asks for a divorce, after more than twenty years of marriage, and children together. Dealing with the humiliation and anger of being rejected for a secretary in the firm twenty-five years her junior are difficult. Chimmie enrolls as a non-traditional student in the biological sciences at a local university where her socialite ego clashes with professorial ego. Her objectives are no longer fund-raising, but quizzes, tests, finals, papers, and her attempts to meet what seem the unreasonable demands of the professors.

Events in Chimmie's past, long repressed that eventually surface after more than two decades, force her to acknowledge their reality. She now has to accept that she is an intrinsic part of what is considered a most controversial issue. The novel details the changes to Chimmie's persona; and the range of emotional reactions to this new identity from her most loved family and friends.
