LADUE, Mo.

Author Nirvana Pride chronicles her struggle with the pain and trauma within her, the remnants of past abuses eroding her very being. Her new book, "Fathom Me" (published by Xlibris), is a therapeutic transcript of her journey of living in refuge, a true story with the power to inspire women to open up about the pain that they too have buried within their hearts, emotional burdens that they must bear in their lives.

"Fathom Me" is a therapeutic experience for those who have gone through similar events as the author that have left them hopeless. It follows Pride as she escapes the constant abuse that her family subjected her to. Living on her own terms and making her own money infused the author with the feeling of freedom, but it was only a matter of time before she would have to face new struggles while she built her new life.

She married an enlisted man and devoted herself to her husband, making life-changing alterations to make him happy, but he was not willing to do the same for her. Unable and unwilling to abide by this, Pride stood up for what she wanted in life, for all she ever wanted was to feel amazing, to have a happy family and a husband who respected her mind, body and time. With her faith and willpower she set out to make her dreams come true.

"Fathom Me" shows readers the struggles encountered by the author and her husband, how they faced these together and overcame them at some point. The memoir is about forgiveness, achieving happiness beyond bliss and feeling amazing about one's self. Pride hopes to show readers that anything is possible and that they too can achieve their dreams just as she did.
