E-Book Featuring Dr. Mildred M. G. Olivier to be Released by Outlier Series Author

Outliers Publishing announced the upcoming short e-Book to be released with extended exclusive interview content from one of the exceptional women featured in the series' next book, Ingredients of Outliers: Women Game Changers. The upcoming eBook title is Ingredients of Outliers: Woman Game changer Mildred M.G. Olivier, MD. The short e-Book will feature extended interview content unique from the book about her background, professional ventures, and advice to others aspiring in her field. Olivier is a passionate humanitarian, an advocate, academic and medical expert in the field of ophthalmology, Dr. Mildred M. G. Olivier.

Dr. Olivier, was chosen as an outlier, featured in the mini e-book and Outlier Series third book, by Dr. John Shufeldt, due to her drive to stop at nothing to become educated and follow her dreams. Today, Dr. Olivier is not only a practicing ophthalmologist with a sub-specialty in glaucoma in her private practice, but she is also on the faculty at Chicago Medical School and serves as the Assistant Dean of Diversity, advocating for minority students and faculty. She is also a member of several boards, while remaining active in pro bono medical and surgical training in Haiti.

The remaining five, 25-30 page short e-Books with extended interviews from the women featured in Ingredients of Outliers: Women Game Changers, are scheduled to release in the summer of 2014. Other women profiled include Christine Jones, who is currently campaigning to become Arizona's next Governor; former Iowa State Supreme Court Chief Justice, Marsha Ternus; Founder of Midwest Glaucoma Center, P.C.; former star of the WEtv series Raising Sextuplets, and full-time Physician Assistant, Jenny McClendon; and Sharon Gynup an author, editor, freelance environmental journalist, and photographer.

In the future, short e-Books featuring individuals profiled in the Outliers Series will be created for each book. Content will include extended interviews on individual outliers along with action and resource guides for those aspiring to enter their related career field. About Author John Shufeldt:
As well as being a practicing doctor and lawyer, Shufeldt is also a pilot (both plane and helicopter) and a business entrepreneur (and if pressed, he will reluctantly admit to being a 'budding' chef and Taekwondo black belt). Shufeldt received his BA from Drake University in 1982 and his MD from the University of Health Sciences/ The Chicago Medical School in 1986. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in 1989 where he spent his final year as Chief Resident. He received his MBA in 1995, and his Juris Doctorate in 2005, both from Arizona State University. He is admitted to the State Bar in Arizona, the Federal District Court and Supreme Court of the United States. Shufeldt is also an adjunct professor at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law where he teaches a clinic on Health Law Entrepreneurism. He serves on the Drake University Board of Trustees and the Sandra Day O'Conner College of Law Alumni Board
