RENTON, Wash. - In the book of Proverbs, chapter 6: verses 6-8, it says, "Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest."

"Marty The Molecular Ant And Friends" (published by Xlibris), written by Cindy Black, tells the story of Marty, a very wise, focused, hardworking and responsible ant that takes the initiative and gathers food at the harvest. With his helpful ways and happy personality, he serves as an example within the ant community with his good sense of character.

"This book will appeal to readers because it will teach children to be helpful," says Black. "It will bring out the goodness in them as the story demonstrates a sense of responsibility towards others."

Filled with inspiring, positive physical and spiritual values, "Marty The Molecular Ant And Friends" stresses the importance of hard work, team work, self-motivation and to always look ahead for the future.
