With his uplifting Christian poetry, Michael Godwin takes readers on "A Journey Home" (published by Xlibris), traversing the valleys of his life, showing how they helped him keep the faith. With this sojourn he shares the encouragement from the Lord to enrich readers' lives.

"I wrote poems throughout my life as things happened to inspire them. I kept them in a notebook. The poems encouraged me in my Christian walk and I wanted to share the inspiration," Godwin says. His spiritual rhymes and verses encourage readers to keep moving forward in their walk of faith, offering kindling for the fire of their belief in the Lord, telling them that God is there with them wherever they go and that he understands their trials. These poems provide daily inspiration, protecting their faith and reminding them that God defends their beliefs from attack, from enemies out to weaken the very core of Christianity.

"You are never in this thing alone," Godwin tells his readers.
