Brenda Hancock's book, 'Ever-Widening Circles or Road to BABA' is an intriguing introduction to Mouni Baba, who took a vow of lifelong silence at the age of 32 and who nevertheless worked extensively in many parts of the world.

Since retiring in 1995 as Director of Social Policy at the British Equal Opportunities Commission, Brenda has divided her years almost entirely between Baba's homes in New Brighton, Minnesota, USA and North Kerala, India.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Brenda Hancock's memoir moves easily between the familiar and the unexpected.

As the story develops, contemporary stereotypes are shaken and aspects of conventional thinking challenged. The questing reader will find here interest and food for thought. In Part I, the author looks back on a young life full of change, adventure and activity, with hints of a persistent but unsatisfied inner search. In Part II, she visits India and forms a lasting relationship with Mouni Baba. Brenda returns to live and work in England, briefly trying her hand at politics then joining a newly-formed British Equal Opportunities Commission, where she finds work of absorbing interest. Baba has, however, become the center and focus of her life, which has taken on a new and fuller depth of meaning.

Readers who wish to experience this enthralling work can purchase "Ever-Widening Circles or Road to Baba" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
