Barbara Arbuckle takes readers into the unique and inspiring lives of five women seeking for the discovery, meaning and impact of grace in this new book titled "With God's Grace..." (published by WestBow Press). Poignant, candid and masterful, this chronicling serves as witness of God's immense, unconditional and abiding love for all and offers reflections to explore grace in each one's own life.

Along with the author, Elisa Taylor Berry, Arlene Finocchiaro, Sister Janice McGrane, SSJ, and Annette Hug started as strangers taking the soul-searching question of what grace means to heart. Over the past few years they have supported one another in their spiritual journey and now share personal stories of how God's abundant love and grace carried them through trials of abuse, depression, disability, loss and family trials. "With God's Grace..." is grace in action in real life challenges.

"We are not theologians out to define or interpret Church teachings on grace. Our perspectives on grace are drawn from our own personal spiritual journeys. Each of us describes grace differently because God has touched us differently according to our needs," Arbuckle says. "Our title 'With God's Grace...' leaves the thought to be finished by the reader. After reading our stories and reflections, we hope they will add their own perspective of grace - what has meaning to their lives."

Unlike other books with a single author relating the stories of other people, "With God's Grace..." speaks through five women, each with a unique voice and a unique perspective on how God's grace has carried them through difficult times.
