About the Author

Shirley Marlow grew up in a small town in Alabama. Shortly after graduating high school, she met a career soldier, William. It was love at first sight for him and after only three months she was love-struck herself and agreed to marry him. They have been happily married since. The first 22 years of their marriage involved getting to not only have adventures all over the world with both deployments abroad and at home, but also the adventure of having two beautiful children. After embarking on her own career path as a business woman and pursuing various passions as a humanitarian, she decided to begin a new path as a writer. She was an avid reader all of her life and has always had a great passion for any written word. After her children were grown and she retired from the work place, she knew it was time to sit down and finally fulfill her dream of writing fictional stories. Marlow is the author of "Maybe Next Time" and "Misguided Justice." This book, Final Encounter, is the finale of her three-part series. She and her husband have two grown children and one granddaughter and currently reside in Dothan, Alabama.
