Author of "Angelica's Discoveries: Romance and Journey to the New World" (published by iUniverse), Otilia Greco, extends the campaign for her 2012 novel with appearances scheduled at the 2015 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books (LATFOB) and the 2015 Miami Book Fair International (MBF).

The 2015 LATFOB will take place April 18-19 at the University of Southern California. This festival attracts approximately 150,000 people each year. The 2015 MBF will be held Nov. 15-22 at Miami Dade College. Hundreds of thousands of readers and writers attend this eight-day literary party every year.

Greco's novel about a woman determined to overcome her fears, preconceived notions and reservations is based on events from Greco's own life. Like the main character, Greco traveled the world seeking to enrich her life by understanding other cultures.

Her book's protagonist, Angelica, discovers her love in Greece when she is pursued by someone else, which leads her to her true destiny in America. Greco had her husband for support on the long journey from the Swiss Alps to the United States.

"Angelica portrays the optimist in all of us," Greco says. "She may not know what the future holds, but she trusts her intuition that everything will work out. She grows from her experiences while adapting to changes during her journey across the globe."
