Author Edward Neu, MD reveals an evocative and thought-provoking story about life and how well his remarkable characters understand it. In his new publication, Unknown Destinations, medical resident doctors meet every few weeks and ponder about the intricacies of life. These insightful talks range from the mysteries of life and death, reincarnation, time and the existence of God.

This book involves 6 - 8 medical doctors with an added surgical resident and his colleagues who get together every few weeks to discuss the important things in life. Their tradition took place over a year with a backdrop of their life as physicians in training. There is some talk about their work, but they ponder more about life and their purpose in the physical world. They reflect about the "what if", the mysteries of life and death. They also talk about the possibility of reincarnation and the importance of time. Their insightful outlook in life created a bond between them, so that they knew each other more than the simple fact that they are colleagues and share the same profession which is to save life.

As doctors who more often than not encounter deaths in their line of work, they understand so much about the fragile thread that separates life and death. They deal with the dying, the exhausting yet exhilarating feeling of snatching life from the edge of mortal danger, of giving people a chance to live for one more day, one more week or one more year. Their talks help them delve more into the meaning of life, seeking the reason for their very existence. Their discussions about the important questions in life enlightens them about the existence of God, life after death, the great hall of knowledge and the nature of time.

Deeply insightful and thought-provoking, Unknown Destinations encourages readers to think critically about the greater scheme of life's lessons, prompting them to investigate further into the greater meaning and purpose of their very existence.
