As a child, Athira Geetha used to write down stories and poems as a pastime. In her debut poetry book, "Tangled Thoughts in Motion" (published by Partridge India), Geetha wrote what she knew - people and their endeavors, nature, the sky, the sea and the stars.

Geetha's small poetry collection has been written in the last few years, with recurring themes of love, life and transformation. She wanted to share this book with everyone and hopes that readers enjoy it.

An excerpt from this book, particularly from the poem Poisoned Lust:
She saw the shadows
That lurked within
She screamed;
As his lust mingled with sin

"I want them to feel my words, in a way that they can relate to it," the author tells.
