ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Andrew Howell felt compelled to pen down this novel after finding inspiration in John D. Macdonald's quote, "Writers write, good or bad it doesn't matter you just write." In this book, Howell crafts a story about a young writer, just out of college, who starts to make money, falls in love and feels like life is going his way until he discovers the intricacies of his wife's dark past.

In "Writers Write," (published by Xlibris AU) readers follow Harry Wells, an aspiring young writer, who falls for Margaret Kennedy, a socialite he meets while they attend Cornell University. A romantic at heart, he is smitten by her apparent style and beauty while blind to her many faults. This will grow to haunt him in the years to come. They marry after graduation and all is right with the world until the other side of the bride starts to come out. While Harry gains success and fortune as a writer he drifts apart from his wife until an inevitable clash sends him spinning. More sinister details emerge about the past of Margaret Kennedy-Wells as readers follow Harry continually finding himself in the constant surprises of his life, writing and love.

Filled with humorous twists and tangles throughout, "Writers Write" is a novel that visits the path author Andrew Howell vicariously traveled, revealing the interesting magnetism found in a writer's life.
