PHOENIX - In her first book of her new trilogy, "Abyrdeen's Dream" (published by Xlibris), author CKF Macphadyen crafts a story about intrigue, deceit, murder and corruption and the third eye view of what, where, when and how the Irish Army influenced Scotland.

Readers follow a young lady who is amidst the dangers of the prominent Lochbuie clan. She experiences first-hand the family's extensive history and its ongoing saga with secret corruption, and violence. This young lass started to achieve celebrated status as a writer, and she became widely appreciated and drastically feared with her unique writing style. Anger and pure doubt were heightened and realized, and the descending chain of events surrounding her family would hinder her and destroy her hopes for true success, or it might restore her family name to its rightful place and stature. Throughout this series, her very inner strengths, courage and her own soul, along with those who were the closest to her, would be threatened with challenging twists and turns. It truly was testing her and her kinfolk of their respect and honor for her family name and rightful position within society.

"Abyrdeen's Dream" is a riveting tale about early diversity and defied success during otherwise restrictive and challenging times in Victorian European society. It depicts the beginning presence and realization of when the Irish Army's influence molded early Victorian society and how they were realized in Scotland.
