After his second wife fell out of love with him, Joseph Tyler began to research marriage, which led to him writing the part novel, part self-help book, "A Broken Man: The Rocky Shoals of Marriage, Remarriage and Divorce" (published by AuthorHouse UK). Tyler is embarking on a campaign to expand his book's reach.

"A Broken Man," details Tyler's first marriage, divorce, second marriage and divorce in the first part of the book. The second half contains information to help couples, from tips for improving communication to guidance on conflict resolution and mediation. If a couple decides they cannot stay together, Tyler also includes advice on separating and divorcing.

Tyler says, "People's lives are so hectic and busy, like me they are more likely not to see the signs and signals of the stoney ground ahead and as a consequence plough on until the rocks get the better of them."
