Direct from Broadway, Gazillion Bubble Show will kick off its first ever Australian tour in Brisbane at Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC) iconic 2016 Out of the Box festival for children eight years and under, with performances from 23 to 27 June 2016. The show will then continue to Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide with performances up to 14 July.

Gazillion Bubble Show Australian tour will star international bubble artist, Melody Yang, who will perform some of the extraordinary bubble magic, that has set an extraordinary 16 Guinness World Records.

For over three decades, the Yang family has explored the fascinating unknown world of soap bubbles combining entertainment, art and science.

The family's imagination and experimentation has led to one of the world's greatest family shows seen by more than 22 million people.

Melody said she is excited to be coming to Australia and kicking off their first ever Australian tour at the nation's biggest and highly regarded children's festival.

"Our passion is encouraging children to express their creativity and use their imagination through the magic and science of bubbles," Miss Yang said.

"We are looking forward to interacting with children and families both as part of Out of the Box and in theatres across Australia, inviting them to be a part of this exciting and entertaining experience showcasing mind-blowing bubble magic," she said.

Festival Director for Out of the Box, Brett Howe, said he is thrilled to have the Gazillion Bubble show as one of the mainstage shows within the 2016 Out of the Box festival at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

"The show invites children to step into an interactive bubble world, with spellbinding lasers, spectacular lighting effects and jaw-dropping masterpieces of bubble artistry," he said.

"Gazillion Bubble Show is unlike anything Australian audiences will have seen before and is bound to be a highlight at Out of the Box in Brisbane and for audiences in Canberra, Sydney and Adelaide," Mr Howe said.
