Cabaret Queen, Trevor Ashley brings his hilarious one-(wo)man show Liza's Back! (is Broken) to the Cremorne Theatre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) from 17 to 22 January 2017.

Created by self-described "mega Minnelli fan" and 3-time Helpmann© Award nominee Trevor Ashley along with co-writer Phil Scott and musical arranger/supervisor Max Lambert (Strictly Ballroom, The Boy From Oz), Liza's Back! (is broken) is the smash hit sequel to the 2010 production of Liza! (on an E).

With all the glitz, glamour and production values worthy of Judy Garland's daughter, Drag-Superstar and comedian Trevor Ashley, as Liza Minnelli, explores the what-ifs of Minnelli's career, the parts that Minnelli should have done over the last forty years. Taking on some of the biggest musical theatre hits from the likes of Julie Andrews, Barbra Streisand and Elaine Paige and putting them through the Minnelli mangle.

Direct from rehab and live with a 7-piece big band, Minnelli (Ashley), offers audiences some ingenious new takes on well-known Broadway classics, including a swinging big-band arrangement of Memory from Cats, and a smoky jazz version of Les Miserablés' Do you hear the People Sing, plus some of her own classics such as Maybe this Time, Cabaret and New York, New York!

Liza's Back! (is broken) comes to QPAC following smash-hit seasons across Australia, Europe and on London's West End. Don't miss Trevor Ashley as Liza Minnelli singing Broadway's greatest hits live on stage. Tickets on sale now via qpac.com.au or call 136 246.
