It's the horrible history of Britain with the nasty bits left in! Take the children on a fun (and educational) theatrical trip back in time with Horrible Histories Barmy Britain from 30 January to 1 February 2015 at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).

Following the success of Horrible Histories Awful Egyptians in 2014, QPAC's Concert Hall will play host to some of the most frightful figures in Britain's history - Can you beat battling Queen Boudicca? Will you love Richard the Lionheart? Would you lose your heart or head to horrible King Henry VIII?

Based on the popular book series, the show combines live theatre with 3D imagery and special effects, dubbed "Bogglevision", to give audiences a hilarious and educational glimpse into Britain's gory history.

Barmy Britain is the Birmingham Stage Company's most successful Horrible Histories production. Written by Terry Deary and Neal Foster, it is the longest running children's show in the history of London's West End.

We all want to meet people from history - the trouble is everyone is dead! See the most loved and hated characters of British history come to life on stage with four performances only from 30 January to 1 February at QPAC. Tickets are on sale from 9.00am Saturday 8 November 2014.

Don't miss out. To book go to qpac.com.au or phone 136-246.
