15th Annual Music By The Sea Festival Announced for 2017

Music By The Sea has become a distinguished force within Brisbane's music scene with its monthly concert series in its 20th year and the 15th annual music festival about to storm into Sandgate with another mouthwatering program to delight festival audiences. This year, as with all years, the calibre of music and musicianship is exceptional.

The 15th Music By The Sea Festival is presenting ticketed concerts in the Sandgate Town Hall featuring the best of international, national, local, professional and emerging artists in genres of folk, jazz, classical and world music, making this festival unique in SE Qld. Some of this year's artists are: Jane Rutter, Paul Grabowsky, Tangents and Melody Pool.

Matthew Thomas Café and Cardigan Bar and EclecTea Vintage Café are the 'Café Series Venues'. Free concerts will be held in all three venues during Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th January.

All artists actively engage and educate audiences in the intimate setting of the imposing 105 year-old Federation-style (now air-conditioned), Sandgate Town Hall. With its fabulous acoustics, this building also outshines other performance venues.
