Blues at the Beach at Indian Ranch just got bigger. The show featuring B.B. King with Robert Randolph and The Family Band and Shemekia Copeland on Sunday, July 13 has added three regional blues bands to the lineup. The ThrowDown Band, The Cannibal Ramblers, and Ten Foot Polecats will all perform on the Indian Ranch Corral Stage starting at 12noon. The main stage festivities begin at 2:00PM making it a day of non-stop blues on the lake.

The ThrowDown Band exploded onto the Boston music scene in late 2009, and in a short time they have attained the reputation of a band to be reckoned with in the New Blues Era. The ThrowDown Band's first release, "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie" was selected as the 'Best Self-produced CD' by the Boston Blues Society, and was been submitted to the IBC for inclusion in the 2012 International Blues Competition, in Memphis.

The Cannibal Ramblers, a duo from Boston/Providence, create a unique and idiosyncratic sound, self-describing themselves as "Delta Swamp Backwater Stomp Death Delta Punk Country Blues." Together for a little more than two years, they play an intense schedule of gigs from Vermont to NYC, from Mississippi to Michigan and France.

The Ten Foot Polecats, a high-octane trio from Boston, MA has been touring the country for the past five years, taking their unique form of roots music (influenced by the sounds of the northern Mississippi hill country). They're just coming off a European tour having played clubs and festivals in Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, France, Netherlands and the UK

And of course, the Indian Ranch main stage will be headlined by the legendary "King of the Blues," B.B. King. Since he started recording in the 1940s, King has released more than fifty albums, many of them classic, featuring hits like "The Thrill Is Gone," "Rock Me Baby," "Baby I Love You" and "Lucille." "The King of Blues" has been bestowed fifteen Grammy Awards, including the Grammy "Lifetime Achievement Award" and has been inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame.

Joining King on the main stage for Blues at the Beach will be virtuoso pedal steel guitarist Robert Randolph and his long time accompanists, the Family Band along with two-time GRAMMY nominee Shemekia Copeland.

Indian Ranch offers music lovers a chance to see some of the greatest country, roots rock, classic rock and pop bands steps from Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Nestled between pine trees, the amphitheater offers the ability to see the stage from anywhere in the audience. Other summer 2014 shows include Willie Nelson, Barenaked Ladies, The Beach Boys, The Happy Together Tour 2014, Bret Michaels, Scotty McCreery, The Mavericks, Chris Young and more.
